Financial Forum of the Spanish Chamber
The Financial Forum belongs to and is managed exclusively by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain. It was approved in an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee on 17th June 2013 and launched officially on 31st January 2014 at the Spanish Embassy in London.
Its main function is to bring together Spanish professionals from the City with the aim to promote the dialogue and the flow of ideas among other peers in the financial markets.
The Forum aims to create a place for opinion and debate on economic and financial matters relating to Spain and its companies, and to share experiences with professionals and renowned individuals. This dialogue will be conducted through lectures, debates, panel discussions and seminars that are all preceded by a presentation of a guest speaker. In the current economic and financial context, the Chamber of Commerce wishes to facilitate the flow of ideas among these relevant companies and the financial world. If you wish to know more about recent activities organised by the Financial Forum, please visit our Past Events section (click here to access) where all the sessions are listed in reverse chronological order.
The Chairman of the Forum is Professor Ahmad Rahnema, professor of Financial Management at IESE, who directs and coordinates discussions and the events calendar.
The Forum is made up of 30 representatives and includes both businesses and financial institutions, from Spanish and international contexts. Click here to see how the Financial forum is formed.
